Outcomes from the Abuja Summit

The World AIDS Campaign support team participated in an important meeting in Abuja this May.

This was a significant opportunity for African campaigning and advocacy, making sure promises that have been made will be kept. The Abuja summit is of real importance to African efforts in Keeping the Promise. In the summit, Goverments and Heads of state will review the progress made in achieving the targets agreed upon at the previous Abuja Summits of 2000 and 2001 on Malaria and on HIV/AIDS, TB and Other Related Infectious Diseases.
