For maximum impact, we would like all local, national and international journalists and campaigners to get a sense of all the actions involved around the world for World AIDS Day, and the growing momentum and solidarity in commitments to tackle HIV and AIDS.

2. Email (media@worldaidscampaign.org) details of your press spokespeople in your country (their name, organization, email address, phone number, and languages spoken), who journalists can contact for interviews, stories and quotes.

3. Consider what stories or photos you could send to media@worldaidsday.org before and immediately after World AIDS Day, such as:

  • press releases, solidarity messages, stories before the week
  • event reports, personal stories, quotes, photographs, audio clips during the week
  • web links to press reports in your country if press cover the events
  • web links to your own website if you are putting up information on events and messages.
