UNCTAD XII: Addressing the opportunities and challenges of globalization for development. The conference is UNCTAD’s highest decision-making body. It meets every four years to set priorities and guidelines for the organization, and provides an opportunity to debate key economic and development issues. The 12th Ministerial conference, to be held in Accra, Ghana from 20-25 April 2008, will revolve around the following theme: “Addressing the opportunities and challenges of globalization for development.”
